Yes it was summer!

Ah well the sunshine certainly perked me up this week. Now where were those woollies?

Can't believe we are at the weekend again. Weekends are so jam packed at the moment we have no time to get to our lovely caravan in Welshpool. I hate the thought of it just standing there.

But not really complaining as last weekend, as well as a great rehearsal for the Michael Jackson show we are staging in two weeks (eek), we had a great time at one of the casts 40th birthday bash. I always wanted to take part in one of those flash mobs where people come from all directions to take part in a random song/dance and that is what we did to Thriller. They loved it!

I am teaching two full days of classes starting today so will be great to see some of you lovely peeps. Let's have some fun.

As Easter is only a week away ( must buy some eggs) I wanted to share some of Lindsay's creations using an Andy Skinner stamp set.

Have a great weekend wherever you may be and whatever you may be doing.

Love Rosemary x

Is this summer?

O how quickly I get used to this beautiful weather. Being a rain hater (yes I know we need it) I just feel so much better to wake every morning to the promise of another sunny day. I sorted my wardrobe and stored all my winter woollies away - lets hope I don't have to get them all back out again next week!

Can't believe it is already over a couple of weeks since our birthday demo weekend. What a blast we had and it was so good to see so many of you. Plans are already under way for our next one on September 22nd.

Esther was showcasing new Marianne dies.

We had worked so hard ordering in and putting out a LOT of new stock, much of it from companies entirely new to us. The week after the demo I thought I deserved to cut myself some slack and take time to 'smell the flowers'. And believe me I am still trying to catch up. It is a nice problem that the new stock is selling so quickly - I guess I didn't reckon on having to do reorders so fast!

We have had a good couple of weeks in the Merry household with Joel auditioning and gaining the part of the Beast in Theatre Clwyds forthcoming production of Beauty and the Beast. Some of you may remember he played this part a couple of years ago for another company and it is his ideal role. He also went up to number 15 in the charts with his new cover song last week, and was asked to be the support act for Rhydian at a one off show in December. A good week. He deserved champagne.

Mum is getting along nicely after her knee replacement and I am glad to say I am spending far less time in hospital waiting rooms. She is walking straighter then she has been for a couple of years and she has her zest back.

This week we have had a new delivery of the beautiful Memory Box dies, including the metal plate to help your cuts release from very detailed dies. Also we have numerous new paper ranges including Simple Stories Fabulous, Graphic 45 vintage baby, Bo Bunny Alora, lots of mini paper ranges from Echo Park and the beautiful nature garden range from Prima. And there's more believe me!

Our May schedule has been typed and will be released early next week. I think I counted 9 new classes on there. Hopefully something to appeal to everyone.

Anyway onwards and upwards.

Wishing you much glitteriness!

Happy birthday to us!

We had a wonderful weekend, last weekend, at our caravan in Mid-Wales. We walked, napped, read and ate chocolate. Perfect!

It was a good job we had some relaxation as we have had no time to turn around this week as even more new product has been arriving. Thank goodness the shop has elastic walls! Love this Portobello Road paper at 40p per sheet. Amazing value.

We are really looking forward to our birthday demo day this coming Saturday. Lindsay Mason will be using the My Minds Eye Kraft Funday paper range with the Gorjuss girls and Andy Skinner stamps and anything 'Timmy' she
can throw into the mix. I know she has at least one technique trick up her sleeve. I know you can't see much of the paper below but it is a heavyweight Kraft card with various grungey patterns on. Okay so I am not really making this sound appealing but you have to see it for yourself!

We had spanking brand NEW Marianne dies arrive yesterday and Esther from Kars will be using these and shrink plastic (yes that's what she said to me). Cant wait to see what she will come up with.

Debi will be 'Enchanting' us with this beautiful new urban fairy range and gilding flakes (one of our fave products at the mo).

Nige has been busy printing lots of sheets off to show you the versatility of the Boys to Men CD, and I will be demoing technical(!) stuff such as the new geared punches from Tonic and Crafters Companions fantastic range of products.

We have lots of specials on the day and a free 3 card kit for anyone spending over £20 (while stocks last). Nige will email out on Friday with details of the specials.

I seem to have been going on and on and I have not really mentioned what new products we have in. You will have to come and visit us as there really are too many to tell you about but I just have to mention the range I put out yesterday from Hobby House. I came home and went straight to my craft room to make these cards using some of the items. Unashamedly cute!

I do hope to see some of you on Saturday - there will be cake and coffee!

Mad as March hares!

I think that is a fair description of Nige and I this past week as we struggled to get out all the new 'stuff' that arrived daily. I tell you I have done a lot of oohing and aahing, which is a good thing after over twenty years in this business. Hopefully we will have something that will appeal to everyone. Some things are already creating a big stir.

Inbetween 'lugging' boxes about and making room for new products I have been putting together a three card kit as a giveaway for our demo day. More about that on the website.

We are now looking forward to opening up our caravan in Welshpool this weekend. Plenty of fresh air, walks with the dogs and afternoon naps! I have also packed enough new craft product to keep me going until Christmas. Well I need to know what I am selling so that I can recommend it to you! I am sure the kids are planning something though as they keep asking when we are leaving!

Anyway another busy buzzy day ahead! Enjoy your weekend.
