Life is good!

Life is good - mad but good!

Workwise I have been prepping hard for Create & Craft shows for both Trimcraft (Sunday 24th June) and Polkadoodles (Tuesday 3rd July) as well as for our imminent Scrapbooking retreat. Outside work I have tried indoor skydiving, been rehearsing hard for a show I am in next week and supporting Joel as he plays the part of the Beast this week at Theatre Clwyd. #veryproudmum!

Just want to remind anyone who is in the Burnley area today that I will be at the Craft Range demoing all day with some other crafty ladies. It promises to be a great day and I am really looking forward to it. Can't believe it is a year since I was last there. So come say 'hello' and see how to use these darling Marianne house dies.

From there I have to hotfoot it to Peterborough for the Sunday Scrappers show on Sunday morning 9-11am. Tune in if you can.

Just reread the above and feel exhausted already so going back to bed! (I wish).

Wishing you a crafty weekend!

Rain rain go away!

I really do try to make a conscious effort not to moan about the weather but, I ask you, who can fail to be a little miffed by it at the moment. We had great jubilee plans for eight of us and three dogs at the caravan, which would have been fine if the weather had even been dry but as Boo takes up most of the lounge floor space anyway we had to cancel our celebrations.

Still I had a great weekend starting off by catching up with Dawn down at Create & Craft and then our Candi day at the shop, followed by a couple of days in Welshpool recharging batteries for a manic June.

I am on air with Nikky from Polkadoodles at noon and four tomorrow launching something special. What fun I have had working on something totally different. Tune in if you can.

If you are attending our fast approaching Scrapcamp watch your letter boxes next week. It's all systems go.

Also if you are in the Burnley area on Saturday June 23rd drop in at the Craft Range and say 'Hi' as I am demoing there for the day. Other demonstrations are going on too. Love going there as the sandwiches are gorgeous! Visit their website for details (of the demo, not the sandwiches!).

Off to carry on with prep for tomorrow. I do intend to post a tutorial of the envelope book I made on C & C but just need to arrange the necessary distractions such as dogs barking, son singing etc etc etc.

Hope you have a sparkling weekend!

Ps This little fella just dropped through my mail box and I just wanted to share him with you. He is my hero as he has such a great attitude. He makes so much fun out of the 'everyday' such as the blender and the spin dryer. He just makes me smile. (I believe his name is Zingy - well that's what Polkadoodles Nikky said!)
